Team Trouble

Buddie and Karissa are known as team trouble! Karissa is obsessed with Buddies bowls, and Buddie hates every minute of it. Karissa thought she would play with Buddies bowls this morning, and well you can see what happened!! Karissa must think that Buddie can't eat without her help. I'm sure he would prefer to not have her help, because he will look at us like can't you guys control your child, these are my bowls!! It's too funny. RJ caught these pictures this morning and they are priceless!! Enjoy our Team Trouble!

11 Months Old

Who's going to get the food first??
Daddy I will pick what we are going to watch
She was putting everything on her sippy, where does she get this stuff?
"Helping" do the dishes

She loves her tubbies!

"Helping" do laundry

Karissa is 11 months old today. She is no longer a baby, she's a big girl now! She is into everything more now than before. She knows what cabinets she can play in, and she loves to play with Buddie's food bowls. She is cruising around furniture like pro and will soon be walking. She crawls like a mad woman to get everywhere. She is very dramatic and totally a girl! She will cry at the drop of a hat especially if you tell her no, she instantly has the big crocodile tears running down her face. Karissa is still wearing the same size clothes and shoes. I don't think that she has grown a lot in the last month or two. I think she moves way too much and burns all her calories off. She loves to eat!! She loves pizza and chicken fingers. We are working on her liking ground beef, right now she just spits it back out. She says mama all the time, she said baby today for the first time, she does say papa and dada sometimes but not every often, and has a noise that she always makes for Buddie. She waves hi and bye very well. My baby girl is getting very big and isn't a baby anymore, except at bed time. She is so much fun to have, we just can't to see what she does next!

A long day....

Today day was the day for the gall bladder to go!! We were up early seeing the nerves were running wild. We left the house at 8:15 am to arrive at the hospital at 9am. We got checked in very quickly and then the waiting game began. 10:30 came and went and no surgeon yet. Finally after what seemed like forever to me everyone came and swept my RJ away. It took about 1 hour and 15 min before we were called to talk to the surgeon. He said everything went fine, the gall bladder didn't look that abnormal, but we all knew it wasn't functioning. He gave me cool pictures to show RJ. Back to the waiting room we go for another hour before going back to see RJ. He was sleeping hard and would hardly open his eyes. It took him a long time to wake up and when he did he was very dizzy so some more meds to take care of that and back to sleep he went. I just sat and stared at him wishing he would wake up so that I would know that he was okay. He did manage to wake enough to eat a few crackers and then finally sat up in the chair. After being in the chair for a while he felt good enough to get up to the bathroom, the final thing he had to do before being able to go home. he walked very well there and back so I helped dress him and home we went. he is now safely tucked into bed with Buddie laying near. Karissa and I will be soon following. It has been a very emotionally exhausting day. I work everyday in a hospital but it's totally different when it's the one you love so very much being the patient. Thank you all for you concern for RJ, it's very greatly appreciated. I will keep everyone updated on how he is doing.

Daddy's Little Helper

Daddy had a screw-driver out and I found it! I thought I would help him out by bringing it to him. What better way to get it there but in my mouth! Yes she actually was crawling around with it in her mouth and was getting very mad b/c she kept dropping it! What a silly girl!

I Love Ice Cream!!

Yes I can fit the entire cone in my mouth!! (I get my big mouth from my mommy!!)

Daddy and Mommy gave me an ice cream cone for the first time and boy am I in love!! It was love at first lick! I knew exactly what to do with it instantly. I had ice cream for ear to ear, it was so yummy!! I ate all of it, cone and all!!

I Love Holly!

Uncle Matt came over with Holly today. Boy is that one cool dogie!! She doesn't run away from me like my Buddie does, she sits so nice so that I can pet her. She is my new best friend!
