Karissa's First....

Karissa tried cereal for the first time on Sunday night. She wasn't so sure about it the first couple of days but tonight she was loving it. She also rolled over for the first time Sunday morning. I was very excited to see that she could do it finally. Saturday we took her out on our boat for the first time all summer. She did really well and even liked the big lake. The only part she doesn't like is the life jacket. Oh yes and she discovered that she has feet! What fun little toys they are. It was a busy weekends of firsts for the little missy.

4 Months

How did she crawl under the play mat?? She started out on top of it facing the other way!

Karissa is 4 months old today! She visited the doctor yesterday who said she looks amazing! She weighed in at 13 lbs 14 ozs and 25.5 inches long. She is in the 95% for height and 40% for weight, still long and skinny. She was very frightened by the paper on the exam table which I found kind of funny. The oddest things frighten her. RJ and I think that she acts a lot older than what she really is. She loves to stand up and will actually stand next to the foot stool alone for a few seconds. She also will sit with the boppy around her for almost a minuet before leaning to one side. She drools all the time and chews on everything in sight. She coos and chats no stop, I wonder who she gets that from? She is just a very happy and busy baby.

Jump-A-Roo-ing

I couldn't wait to get dressed this morning I just had to go
jump-a-roo-ing!

Some how she is too short for this one but was long enough for the one in the store. The phone book was Daddy's genius idea!

Karissa has been asking daddy please may I have a jump-a-roo? Daddy finally said yes. We went to toys r us and we thought we should try out the store model first before making the purchase....she loved it instantly!! So we now have the complete Rain forest collection! (Sorry for the videos being the wrong direction I can't figure out how to flip it.)

Swimming Again

She learned how to splash in the water, it took her by surprise when she splashed her own face.

We all went swimming again yesterday. The pool was a warm 86' this time so Karissa loved it. Thanks Grandma Patti for the new float. She stayed in the pool for over an hour. The funniest part was she doesn't like her feet in the water so she tried so hard to keep them out while she was in her floaty!

Best Friends

Buddie loves his baby girl....well most of the time. He looks at me like really again when I put her by him for a picture or 20! He does really well even though you can tell he's less than thrilled. I can't wait to see what he does when she is crawling around.

Toys Toys and more Toys

Karissa loves to play with toys. She's not happy unless she's sitting up and playing. Seeing she can't sit up on her own yet we got the high chair out. She thinks she's hot stuff sitting there. her favorite game, throw all the toys on the ground and then scream because they are gone! How do kids automatically know how to do that?

3 Month Pictures

We went out to grandma and Grandpa's boat yesterday. Karissa really liked the rocking motion. She is now a little boater girl, life jacket and all!

My 1st Parade

Mommy look at me! I had so much fun at the parade with Papa and Grandmma. We met up with Uncle Marv and Aunt Jen and Peyton. I had fun sitting by Papa and Peyton, but Peyton did not want to share Papa. The parade was so much fun I slept for an hour in Aunties arms.
