Poor Livie doesn't fit in her life jacket too well

We went boating as a family for the first and last time all summer!!  It's sad to say that we only went out once (RJ did go a few times after work).  It was a really nice day but it the channel and big lake were pretty wavy.  I don't do "big" waves anymore, as RJ says I'm a getting to be a baby in my old age!!  Karissa and Olivia really liked it.  Karissa of course had to drive the boat!  Both girls fell asleep half way back down the channel, the totally take after their mama.  Hopefully we will get to go more next summer!

4 Months Old

Olivia Nicole is now 4 months old! She is a wonderful baby. She is now 13 pounds and 26 inches long. She is a pound smaller than Karissa was but is just as long. She's going to be a long skinny baby as well! She's just my little peanut still, I just love her! She is awake most of the morning and takes a good afternoon nap. She sleeps from about 9 pm until almost 8 am. She is wearing 3 month clothes, size 1 diapers, and size 1 shoes. Her hair has fallen out and is actually growing back already...yes there is peach fuzz up there!! She smiles all the time and talks a lot. She is working on sitting up and can roll over. She is beginning to be more interested in her toys but her favorite thing is to watch her big sister run around! Oh and the biggest thing is she is a complete thumb sucker!!! Yup she really doesn't suck the binkie much anymore, just her thumb. She loves to hold her blankie and suck her thumb to put herself to sleep at night and nap time. She is just a wonderful baby, we just love her so very much!!

Reading

I had Olivia sitting on the couch the other day and Karissa climbed up, sat down and started to read to her. It was kind of cute!

Daddy's Helper

Karissa loves to help daddy with anything and everything! Mowing the lawn is one of her favorite things. She especially loves to wears her muffs!! Isn't she cute?

Bath Time

Olivia decided that she really didn't enjoy bath time very much at all. Then I decided that she could sit in the baby tub like a big girl and just like that she loves it! Well loves to sit up but doesn't like to put her feet int he water!! Karissa always did the same thing and I think it's just funny! What good abs she must have!

My Girlies

So it's been a while since I posted last...time is just flying by. Olivia is soon going to be 4 months old already! Both girls are doing great! Karissa is talking and playing like crazy. She loves to be outside in the sand box and pool. She is also potty trained, yeah!! She is such a big girl! Olivia is such a good baby. She is staying awake a lot more during the day and still sleeps all night. She is smiling and talking all the time also. She's so happy to sit and be talked to. She doesn't fuss unless she needs something. I just love my girls so very much!
